Devnet SOL lets you exercise SOLCAST's on-chain path without presenting Devnet tokens as mainnet assets. Wallet and transaction state remain separate from ECAP Practice.
WHAT
Solana Devnet is a testing network. Devnet SOL has no mainnet monetary value.
WHY
It provides a realistic environment for wallet connection, signatures, program execution, settlement testing, and Explorer verification.
Use this workflow

Switch the execution mode to Devnet SOL.

Connect a supported wallet and verify the address shown in SOLCAST.

Review the exact transaction before signing.

Use Solana Explorer links to verify confirmed Devnet activity.
Never send mainnet SOL to a Devnet-only flow.
A failed Devnet transaction does not fall back to ECAP.
